This position requires CNC plasma table knowledge and maintenance. The operator will be responsible for loading equipment with plate using an overhead crane, measuring material before and after cutting to ensure compliance with job specifications, and selecting and installing plasma nozzles based on the type and thickness of metal. The operator must prepare equipment to cut material by downloading the correct CNC program and complete data sheets on material cut. Additionally, labeling each part with the correct job and part number and removing materials using an overhead crane from the burn table after cutting is essential. Preventive maintenance is also required, including wiping down torches and equipment and replacing consumables as needed.
