About The Position

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Burn Off Oven and Blast Booth Operator. This position will support the coating line by inspecting processes equipment and cleaning the racking needed for coating product. This will be a weekend shift position. Friday - Sunday, 5:00am - 5:00pm.

Requirements

• High school or equivalent
• Two - Three years of experience in a position of similar responsibility in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, product designs, safety, quality and workflow needs.
• Strong documentation skills, reporting skills and computer skills.
• Ability to think and react quickly to changing situations and adjust to changing priorities.
• Ability to be a contributing and collaborative team member.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, safe, organized material storage areas.
• Maintain equipment by planning and carrying out PM’s as prescribed by documented procedure and by creating documented procedure for PM’s wherever needed.
• Plan daily tasks geared toward evening PMs.
• Communicate changes.
• Work with department Supervisor.
• Turn in daily downtime information.
• Review materials needs daily and notify Supervisor of materials needed.
• Report any safety violations or concerns to the Supervisor.
