About The Position

The position involves working in the distribution department on the 2nd shift (3pm - 11pm) from Monday to Friday, with additional weekend work as scheduled for production. The pay rate is $24.25 per hour, plus a $1 shift differential. Responsibilities include receiving, storing, and shipping food products and supplies, ensuring warehouse organization and cleanliness, and loading and unloading trucks. The individual will also be responsible for assembling and moving products in and out of coolers and freezers, as well as maintaining safety standards in the workplace.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• 6 months of work history
• Ability to work effectively in subzero temperatures
• Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Basic math skills
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to climb up and down a stepladder and reach up above
• Must possess communication skills
• Must work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Performs duties related to receiving, storing & shipping food products & supplies
• Ships & receives outbound and inbound goods
• Responsible for warehouse organization and cleanliness
• Organizes & straightens up all aspects of the freezer, coolers, and docks
• Loads & unloads trucks
• Stacks & secures items in position on truck to prevent damage during shipment
• Assembles & moves product into and out of coolers and freezers
• Takes care of rendering
• Follows good manufacturing practices (GMP's)
• Performs any and all duties as assigned by Lead/Supervisor
