Amerisure is recruiting for a Bureau Reporting Analyst to join our corporate team. This position can be remote from most locations in the U.S. Position Summary: Analyze statistical requirements and coding in preparation for submission to regulatory bureaus. Make recommendations to assist in implementations. Provide assistance to vendors, programmers and other internal departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, statistics, or insurance or equivalent work-related experience.
  • One year of experience utilizing statistical plans for reporting.
  • Knowledge of controls and implementation of controls as they relate to regulatory reporting.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional business teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
  • Demonstrated successful ability to perform accurate work under the pressures of tight schedules.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers.

Nice To Haves

  • SQL, VBA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to compliance inquiries from internal and external stakeholders in accurate and timely manner
  • Assist in validation, reconciliation, and correction of premium and loss data prior to reporting deadlines to regulatory agencies.
  • Promote data quality through quality analysis and periodic reviews of statistical coding.
  • Support vendor and reporting bureau processes through proactive collaboration.
  • Assist in identifying requirements for both new and existing programs as directed by bureaus
  • Participate in quality testing and review of test results to ensure accuracy of implementations. Recommend coding or system process improvements.
  • Stay current with statistical guidelines and request necessary programming when required.
  • Direct the distribution of revisions/memos from regulatory agencies to all applicable departments.
  • Create and maintain internal process documents
