About The Position

As an Iron Mountain Bureau Reporter, you will live in the Iron Mountain area and report on what matters to the local community for our television newscasts and station digital platforms. A Multi-Media Journalist must be versatile, requiring strong storytelling. You'll be reporting enterprise stories from the field and working out of our Bureau in Iron Mountain. You are writing, editing, and producing stories from idea to on-air and online. You'll also be doing LIVE shots from field locations. We're looking for those individuals able to think outside the box, find stories that stand out in the market, and leave a lasting impression on the viewer. The right person is creative, contributes story ideas, and develops contacts. Social media is a big part of our news coverage. You're responsible for writing and posting stories to the TV6 and FOX UP Website, Facebook, Twitter, and other station-related platforms. Community involvement is a must.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license
• A strong grasp of the English language, spelling, and grammar is a MUST!
