In this role, you’ll ensure every batch meets quality and safety standards while keeping production running smoothly:

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • 2+ years of forklift experience (or the ability to become forklift certified)
  • Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to repair or replace simple equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards
  • Clear communication skills to escalate quality or equipment concerns
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance

Responsibilities

  • Accurately check, zero, and maintain scales to ensure precise measurements
  • Prepare and convey foam mixtures into the mixing blender, recording ingredient weights on production sheets
  • Use the correct weight of fiber and beads for each batch
  • Maintain proper adhesive mixtures and keep gun tips clean and functional
  • Change adhesive gun tips as needed to support consistent output
  • Maintain machinery and ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
  • Complete and organize production and weigh sheets, submitting them weekly
  • Clean and organize your work area at the end of each shift
  • Communicate any quality or equipment issues to your supervisor, lead, or Tool & Die team
