The Braintree Public Schools is seeking to hire a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the 2025-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will have a special education license and experience working with a variety of students.
Working with the students we serve and staff to observe, identify, analyze, and document a range of behavior challenges
Determining specific behavior problems or social adjustment difficulties of students and recommend interventions
Drafting and implementing behavior plans and individual crisis management plans
Conducting functional behavioral assessments
Assisting administrators, teachers and staff in implementing plans and using appropriate behavioral strategies and interventions
Administering appropriate and necessary testing
Participating in conference, evaluations, and IEP meetings as appropriate
Preparing progress reports and evaluations
Working with parents and apprise them of problems and progress
Keeping abreast of developments in the field.
Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification
Masters Degree and DESE licensure preferred
Experience as a Special Education Teacher and/or BCBA preferred, ideally in a diverse public school setting
Experience developing behavior plans and crisis management plans
Knowledge of Safety Care preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
