The Braintree Public Schools is seeking to hire a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the 2025-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will have a special education license and experience working with a variety of students.

  • Working with the students we serve and staff to observe, identify, analyze, and document a range of behavior challenges
  • Determining specific behavior problems or social adjustment difficulties of students and recommend interventions
  • Drafting and implementing behavior plans and individual crisis management plans
  • Conducting functional behavioral assessments
  • Assisting administrators, teachers and staff in implementing plans and using appropriate behavioral strategies and interventions
  • Administering appropriate and necessary testing
  • Participating in conference, evaluations, and IEP meetings as appropriate
  • Preparing progress reports and evaluations
  • Working with parents and apprise them of problems and progress
  • Keeping abreast of developments in the field.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification
  • Masters Degree and DESE licensure preferred
  • Experience as a Special Education Teacher and/or BCBA preferred, ideally in a diverse public school setting
  • Experience developing behavior plans and crisis management plans
  • Knowledge of Safety Care preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
  • A commitment to collaboration in support of all students learning and development
  • Competent with technology, including Google Suite
  • Valid driver's license
