About The Position

The Bartender is responsible for delivering an exceptional beverage experience by preparing and serving high-quality drinks while ensuring guests feel welcomed, engaged, and well cared for. This role combines technical skill with genuine hospitality, maintaining a clean and organized bar environment, ensuring responsible alcohol service, and supporting smooth bar operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as a bartender in a high-volume establishment.
  • Proven track record of providing excellent customer service in a hospitality environment.
  • Experience in preparing a wide variety of cocktails and beverages.
  • Strong knowledge of mixology, including classic and contemporary cocktail recipes.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and team members effectively.
  • Proficiency in handling cash and operating point-of-sale systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items such as kegs and cases of beverages.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve beverages according to established recipes and guest preferences
  • Provide warm, attentive, and professional guest service to enhance the overall bar experience
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including glassware, counters, and equipment
  • Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and assisting with ordering as needed
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards, including responsible alcohol service policies
  • Accurately process cash and credit transactions in accordance with hotel procedures
  • Assist in creating and testing new cocktail recipes and seasonal promotions
  • Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction
  • Collaborate with bar, kitchen, and restaurant teams to ensure seamless service flow
  • Monitor guests for signs of overconsumption and take appropriate action to ensure a safe environment
