Responsibilities
- Consistently string payoff; point weld, and grind material as applicable
- Consistently set up die boxes, ensure proper alignment, ensure correct dies and lubricant are being used
- Consistently set up by measuring wire diameter between each draw
- Inspect material during processing to ensure proper quality is maintained
- Complete all documentation and turn in work order to supervisor
- Train new operators, if necessary
- Ensure work are is neat and properly maintained
- Properly use a micrometer
- Operate a crane and a forklift
- Cut samples for quality control
- Assist production manager and other operators as necessary
