Part-Time Bulk Tech
About The Position

Job Summary: Ally Waste is hiring for the exciting Part-Time Bulk Tech position which is a fundamental role to deliver our waste support services to the apartment communities we serve. The Bulk Tech role consists of loading furniture and other bulky items to a truck and trailer and hauling it to the landfill. This position will be 2-3 days per week, roughly about 20-30 hours weekly.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs at a time
- Must be able to get in and out of truck hundreds dozens of times throughout the shift
- Must be able to work quickly
- Must be willing to get dirty; can not be afraid of the smells at a landfill
- Driver's license and driving record in good standing
Responsibilities
- Using a company truck (and possibly trailer), drive to up to 20 properties daily on assigned route
- Check in, take photos, and document bulky items/furniture at each property using our proprietary app
- Load heavy items to the truck using stacking techniques
- Haul items to the assigned landfill
- Empty items from the trailer or truck (depending on equipment used)
- Work quickly and efficiently to complete pickups in a timely manner
