About The Position

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Bulk Service Technician to join our team! The Bulk Service Technician is responsible for tank repair, telemetry installation/maintenance, maintaining and removing all types of gaseous, and cryogenic storage units. The Bulk Service Technician will interact with project manager, sales, customers, contractors, engineers, and inspectors regarding installation/maintenance at the customer's site.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
Basic tool knowledge and mechanical aptitude a plus
Experience pipefitting and brazing a plus
Valid Driver's License with clean driving record required
No DUI/DWI or other alcohol (driving) related convictions within the last ten (10) years
Must be able/willing to travel (overnight travel required)

Responsibilities

Frequently travels to customer sites to perform installations, removals, repairs and preventative maintenance on bulk units
Diagnose problems, failures, and identifies replacement needs
Repairs various items, systems and/or components of bulk units
Ensures equipment is in safe working condition once repairs are complete
Performs routine and preventive maintenance for the purpose of ensuring the ongoing functioning of equipment
Request’s equipment and supplies to complete the necessary installation/repair
Manages inventory and shipping of parts to other Technicians in the region
Arranges shipment of tanks to meet job schedule
May require both planned and unplanned overnight travel
Other duties as assigned
