The Spartanburg, SC plant We produce high performing dispersant, resin and wax additives our team of 63 people. The Bulk Material Handler will load and unload our bulk raw and finished materials. You will also load and unload packaged goods in the warehouse, as assigned. You will collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions, advance mobility, improve wellbeing and enhance modern life.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited school.
  • 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing or industrial warehouse environment.
  • 1+ years' as chemical operator experience, bulk chemical material handler or chemical manufacturing experience.
  • Experience calculating fractions and percentages.
  • Experience with forklift and drum handling equipment.
  • Must be able to wear a full-face respirator.
  • Computer skills with MS Office applications, SAP, or other data entry and documentation applications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate pickers, forklifts and various other equipment as assigned.
  • Load and Unload bulk raw materials and finished products in the production areas.
  • Load and Unload packages in the warehouse as assigned.
  • Be the equipment owner for the tank farm areas leading tasks such as lock-out-tagout, waste management, and safety shower inspections.
  • Data entry for inbound and outbound materials.
  • Learn inter-modal hazardous material regulations.
  • Safely operate all equipment with the proper inspections and documentation.
  • Write maintenance and repair orders.
  • Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, instruments, storage areas, walkways, and roadways utilizing various equipment to ensure compliance with safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with other teammates and stakeholders to develop 'best practices' across the facility.
  • Other duties as assigned including working with SAP to troubleshoot inventory issues, supporting PHAs, participating in Health and Safety initiatives, and assisting others in the facility.
