About The Position

The Bulk Manager at Sprouts Farmers Market is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, packing, and stocking of all bulk foods. Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• 1-2 years of experience in a retail grocery environment and 1 year of managerial leadership experience.
• Dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of weekly ad items and ability to assist customers with product location.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that changes with business needs.
• Working knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, and financial goals.
• Outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude towards team members and customers.
• Ability to move products weighing up to 50 lbs and stand for up to 8 hours per shift.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance, packing, and stocking of all bulk foods.
• Follow the merchandising Bulk plan and ensure proper packaging and scaling of bulk items.
• Order and maintain inventory, rotate products, and follow cleaning and sanitation programs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and regulatory standards.
• Communicate standards, expectations, and product knowledge to team members.
• Provide high-level customer service and maintain a clean bulk area.
• Receive, unload, and stock merchandise as needed.
• Engage and evaluate team members through coaching and feedback.
• Recruit, hire, and make promotion decisions in collaboration with the Store Manager.
• Exercise independent judgment to address team member concerns and document corrective actions.
• Create and adjust schedules to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.
• Lead a team to deliver quality products and service, serving as a Key Carrier or Manager on Duty as needed.
