  • Safe and efficient driving of a yard switcher and loading of finished goods and raw materials into bulk tank wagons.
  • Weigh tankers in and out on the company scale, ensuring all paperwork coincides with the assigned tanker and related materials.
  • Assure proper staging of the tanker and inspect all related connections from the storage tank or blend vessel to the tanker prior to loading materials.
  • Strong communication skills to report any issues or delays to shift supervisors/managers.
  • Move trailers on site to support production and move drum trailers from the dock to the yard as needed.
  • Load tanker trucks, unload box trucks and flat-beds, tanker trucks and rail cars, either manually or using proper material handling equipment.
  • Complete shipping responsibilities including receiving POs in JDE, shipping items in JDE, and communicating late shipments to the OTC group.
  • Prepare UPS and FedEx shipments and call trucks for shipment.
  • Operate yard switcher to move box trucks and tank wagons as needed.
  • Operate production equipment in a manner consistent with training and work instructions to ensure safety and product quality.
  • Prepare mixing vessels, necessary pumps and hoses for unloading, and inspect all containers prior to filling for cleanliness and integrity.
  • Fill containers as prescribed in the associated batch ticket, pick ticket, and/or export order sheet and prepare containers for shipment including labeling, palletizing and wrapping.
  • Assist in tracking material inventory and performing inventory counts, and make inventory transfers in JDE.
  • Store and stage inventory in assigned areas for batch preparation, further processing and/or shipping.
  • Maintain neat, thorough and correct completion of all product related documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and strictly adhere to all plant safety policies.
  • Provide immediate containment, reporting and clean-up/recovery of spilled material or leaks.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferred - Class A CDL.
  • Knowledge of DOT standards.
  • 1-3 years of Yard Switcher experience.
  • Forklift Experience Required.
  • Ability to lift bags and other containers up to 50 pounds in a safe manner as directed.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Positive team oriented attitude.
  • Reliable attendance.
  • Bulk loading experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
