The Bulk Liquid Receiving Forklift Operator is a tank truck receiving position for Lyons Magnus, an international food and beverage manufacturer. This position involves the unloading of bulk liquids from tank trucks using an automated pumping station. Hours: 6:00 am - 6:00 pm Schedule: Monday - Friday (Weekend OT as needed) Location: Walton, KY Work Environment: Manufacturing

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational and oral/written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities
  • Ability to use an RF scan gun
  • 2+ years WMS experience
  • Forklift certification (Sit Down, Stand Up, Pallet Jack)
  • 2+ years in food manufacturing/warehousing environment.
  • High School Education

  • Bilingual – English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the mission, values and vision of the company.
  • Connect and disconnect tank trucks to and from automated pumping station.
  • Operate pumping station to offload bulk liquids from tank trucks.
  • Run automated cleaning procedures on pumping equipment.
  • Maintain log books for QA Lab personnel.
  • Move dock levers, and devices to drive industrial forklifts to transport materials between unloading station and storage areas as assigned.
  • Organize and secure materials where stored.
  • Performs routine pre and post inspections of pumping station and forklift equipment to ensure all equipment is operating well.
  • Complete successfully the forklift operator training, provided annually by the company.
  • Provide support in pulling materials and staging pallets
  • Store products in home locations.
  • Correctly and legibly fill out documents pertaining to shipments, and receipt of products.
  • Participate in cycle counts.
  • Maintain cleanliness of warehouse facilities.
  • Maintain effective communication with forklift drivers and receiving office personnel.
  • Consult and work with managers, supervisors, employees and equipment manufacturers to coordinate loading and loading operations.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by lead, supervisor or manager.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in WMS (Scan Technology Software and Hardware)
  • Understanding the flow of materials, from receiving to production usage to finished goods inventory to shipping.
