About The Position

The primary responsibility of the bulk driver is to deliver product in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements

• Ability to clearly communicate in English.
• CDL with valid medical card.
• Doubles/triples endorsement as needed.
• Ability to move at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to sit for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean assigned truck and perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections. Report mechanical problems to maintenance division and supervisor.
• Pick up check or cash on cash on delivery (COD) orders and deliver to dispatch with billing tickets.
• Manage time schedule to deliver customer orders on time.
• Load truck with the correct product and weight, obtain ticket and deliver to customers desired location.
• Maintain proper paperwork to include tickets signed by customer, customer copies, and any other documents required by the company.
• Maintain a commercial driver’s license (CDL), doubles/triples endorsement (LCV as needed) and department of transportation (DOT) medical card.
• Maintain insurable driving record.
• Obey all traffic laws and ensure compliance with all DOT, FMCSA, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Other Duties as assigned.
