Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must possess Class A CDL
  • Excellent driving record, and at least 2 to 3 years experience
  • Follows all safety and operating procedures for CNG and maintains the integrity of corporate equipment
  • Have a driving record in good standing free of any major violations and excessive moving violations or accidents
  • Ability to work outside in all weather
  • Demonstrate skill in organizing work, taking initiative, setting priorities and sound decision making
  • Possess logic, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Deal effectively with company personnel on all levels ranging from production workers to top management
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Driving truck and trailer to rail yard and back
  • Loading resin from railcar to tanker trailer
  • Verifying silo locations
  • Offloading resin from tanker trailer to appropriate silo
  • Ensuring equipment is safe and properly transporting resin
  • Completing a pre and post trip inspection for every truck and trailer driven, daily
  • Coordinating repairs to equipment in compliance with all company purchasing, safety and food safety requirements, and applicable laws
  • Reviewing, managing and filing all equipment safety, repair and log paperwork in accordance with company policies
  • Completing paperwork accompanied by resin transportation
  • Maintaining production volume and efficiency
  • Identifying needed changes and making recommendations
  • Troubleshooting mechanical issues, requesting supervisor assistance when needed
