About The Position

In this position, you are responsible for performing routine inspection, maintenance and repairs to building mechanical systems (pumps, valves), HVAC systems and related equipment (air handling units, filters, cooling towers). You would also be responsible for startup and shut down of major building equipment (Chillers, Pumps, Cooling Towers). You will perform minor plumbing and general building maintenance duties as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma and one year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to maintain the security and integrity of the infrastructure related to this role.

• Monitor operation of all mechanical systems, equipment, including building automation systems, air distribution systems, chillers, boilers, ventilation equipment, air handling equipment, motors, pumps, valves, compressors, air conditioners, and related environmental equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection, maintenance and repairs to building mechanical systems, i.e. pumps, valves, etc.
• Perform routine inspection, maintenance and repairs to HVAC systems and related equipment, i.e. air handling units, filters, cooling towers.
• Maintain comfort levels in a building environment through the computerized building automation system.
• Startup/shut down major building equipment, i.e. Chillers, Pumps, Cooling Towers.
• Perform minor plumbing and general building maintenance duties as required.
• Employee may perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the Department.
