This individual is a highly experienced Building Systems Engineer to support, build, maintain and optimize our network-wide healthcare building automation systems infrastructure. This individual will ensure efficient operation of the HVAC systems through software and hardware integration, data analysis, and collaboration with IT, construction, and facilities teams. This individual will work collaboratively with team members, campus facilities engineers, IT teams and leadership to provide communication on issues and resolutions as well as managing BAS server access, IS cybersecurity and network integration. Will provide technical support and troubleshooting for BAS software (i.e. Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Pro-Long, Siemens and other BACnet systems) and hardware across multiple campuses and sites. Must maintain and upgrade BAS applications, including patching, updates, and licensing as well as managing access to BAS systems within facilities leadership. Will lead or support BAS-related projects, including planning, implementation, and documentation as well as commissioning and retro-commissioning of BAS installations. Will be required to respond to after-hours emergencies as needed (on-site or remote) to maintain effective clinical and hospital operations. Supports and maintains national standards including (ASHRE & ASHE Guidelines, CMS, Joint Commission, NFPA, FGI, state and local codes and regulations) with a focus on improving energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and sustainability; while also integrating smart technologies and advanced systems to enhance efficiency, cost controls and occupant comfort. May require in town traveling and on-call work as needed.
