The Building Substitute is a flexible, student-centered educator who provides consistent instructional and behavioral support across Deep Roots Charter School. This role ensures continuity of learning by covering classrooms during teacher absences, supporting students with routines and expectations, and upholding the school's instructional and cultural values. The Building Substitute plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, joyful, and academically focused learning environment and contributes to a strong sense of belonging for students. The Building Substitute reports directly to the School Leader or designee.
