About The Position
The Connecticut River Academy (http://www.ctriveracademy.org) is a Sustainability Studies/Early College Magnet High School, operated by Goodwin University on its river campus in East Hartford. We have an opening for an enthusiastic Middle School LTS Mathematics Teacher in the Middle Grades Program for the 2026-27 School Year. An ideal candidate is someone with an ability to motivate students from diverse backgrounds and interests. The school features a collaborative learning model, block scheduling, hands-on and outdoor learning along with multiple connections to Goodwin College. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong desire to work with students from urban and suburban settings, and possess an understanding of and appreciation for multicultural education. The selected teacher will become a member of a dynamic team of educators.
Requirements
- Mathematics (029) certification required or evidence of eligibility is required.
