About The Position

We are seeking a Building Services & Utility Manager to join our newest luxury life plan community in Tysons! Position Summary: To ensure resident satisfaction by providing exceptional resident engagement through an assortment of procedural and operational implementations to include housekeeping, communications, contract services, automations, personnel development, quality assurance, and a safe environment for residents, guests and staff according to Mather policies and measures of Excellence. Essential Functions: Plays a critical role in the institution and start of new services by working in conjunction with key stakeholders both internal and external, ensuring on-time executions meet or exceeds organization Assists with the structure and dissemination of critical guidelines, special projects, managed time constraints while coordinating activities to enhance productivity, minimizing risks and complex issues to ensure resident, team member and contractor excellence. Lead departmental software utilization training plans, management audits, applications effectiveness, including Talk2, BAS, Relay Protocol, Asset Management, and CMS to achieve employee development and service excellence. Perform training and conduct proactive scheduled routine visits of resident accommodations to ensure resident satisfaction and service needs. Conducts and coordinates environmental safety rounds, fire drills, safety meetings, incident reports and review analysis. Design collaborative programming and coordinate preventative maintenance programs with Building Services, Housekeeping and Concierge. Ensures accurate and effective data collection in support of integration of assigned subsystems acquired as necessary to meet established goals and timelines. Spearheads FF&E scheduling and coordination to ensure accurate Inspect and monitor interior and exterior appearance of building according to company standards and policies. Assist and lead with LEED AP O&M Program Design as Consistently maintain on-going inspection programs throughout the Respond to and resolve resident concerns in a timely Ensure all safety and security policies and procedures are Maintain financial controls within budget Schedule and coordinate outside vendors/contractors as Establishes, operationalizes, engages team members in, and sustains a Quality Assurance Process Improvement process.

Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Progressive housekeeping/environmental services experience.
  • Ability to supervise, lead and motivate diverse staff.
  • Clear and concise, written and verbal communication skills.
