About The Position

Building Service Tech Base Pay: $22.00 - $30.80 per hour 2nd Shift: 3:45 PM - 12:15 AM Mon - Fri DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITES Performing property maintenance with basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills Patching, painting, and completing repairs on buildings and ground facilities Position duties require a full range of motion, must be able to bend, stand, stoop, kneel, reach, walk, and lift for extended periods of time Repair/troubleshoot air conditioning units Perform routine and preventive maintenance Maintain cleaning logs and maintenance logs; related to inspections Wear PPE required by the company. Able to work in inclement weather conditions and perform work in outdoor environments.

Requirements

Observe safety standards in a safe manner at all times
Be able to work overtime when required
Be able to safely drive a forklift truck
Must have experience using small power and hand tools
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waiste
Must possess strength, stamina and mobility to perform heavy physical work with exposure to potentially hazardous conditions
Will use a variety hand and power tools, may drive a motor vehicle and/or light construction equipment, fork trucks, platform lifts etc.
Lift and move materials and equipment weighing up to 90 pounds and heavier weights with the use of proper equipment and assistance
Must be able to read printed materials and a computer screen
