About The Position

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Building Service Technician to perform property maintenance with basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills. The position requires a full range of motion and the ability to work in various conditions, including inclement weather. The technician will be responsible for patching, painting, and completing repairs on buildings and ground facilities, as well as performing routine and preventive maintenance on air conditioning units. The role involves maintaining cleaning and maintenance logs and requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements

• Observe safety standards in a safe manner at all times
• Be able to work overtime when required
• Be able to safely drive a forklift truck
• Must have experience using small power and hand tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist

Responsibilities

• Perform property maintenance with basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills
• Patch, paint, and complete repairs on buildings and ground facilities
• Repair/troubleshoot air conditioning units
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance
• Maintain cleaning logs and maintenance logs related to inspections
• Wear PPE required by the company
• Work in inclement weather conditions and perform work in outdoor environments
