About The Position

Job Title: Building Services Aide Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: Day - 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (with every other weekend rotation) Location: St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA Position Purpose: The Building Service Aide performs housekeeping duties for the hospital’s Environmental Services Department. As a “Building Service Aide” you will: This position is responsible for all general cleaning task in maintaining an assigned area of the hospital in a clean, sanitary, orderly and satisfying surroundings for the patients, colleagues and public. The environmental service technician promotes sanitary conditions, which prevents the spread of infection and odors. May be required to perform task, which involve exposure to visible blood contamination or reasonably anticipated blood contamination. Performs all cleaning, floor care and project assignments within area of responsibility or as directed by supervisor. Maintains equipment, tools and storage areas in clean, orderly and good operating condition. Respects Hospital and Company property. Similar duties may also extend to the Medical Office Building, other buildings and the adjacent grounds of the Medical Center’s premises. Requirements
