About The Position

Do you want to help lead security through technology? If so, you might be a great match to join our building security leadership team at the Intuit Dome. We are seeking an experienced and service driven Building Security Supervisor to oversee our daily security and access control programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading building security officers to incorporate new technology into a seamless safer experience for guests, players and employees visiting the Intuit Dome. This is a full-time role hourly role based at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, CA. The scope of this position encompasses a 24-hour, 7 day a week operation with the transition of numerous daily events. Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule including weeknights, weekends, and holidays to cover high profile concerts and NBA games. We are hiring Building Security Supervisors for the Afternoon shift (2:30pm-11:00pm) and Overnight shift(10:30pm-7:00am). About Intuit Dome: Newly opened in August 2024, Intuit Dome is the new home of the LA Clippers and will host hundreds of sporting events and concerts each year. Located in Inglewood, Calif., Intuit Dome is built different -- it will redefine fans’ expectations for live experiences and change the music landscape in Los Angeles. Set to host the 2026 NBA All-Star game, Intuit Dome is over 1 million square feet and features our team training center, business operations offices, five full-sized basketball courts, an 80,000 square foot outdoor plaza and a double-sided Halo Board composed of more than an acre of LED.

Requirements

High School degree or equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Security Supervisor experience with an understanding of security procedures and fan relations
Familiarity with security communication devices, Closed Circuit Television Systems and other security devices
Must have the ability and interpersonal skills to effectively assist guests, clients and employees.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must have basic familiarity with email, Microsoft Office tools, and computer software programs used for staffing, access control, and deliveries.
Proof of a valid California Guard Card is required prior to starting the position.
Demonstrated ability to communicate and positively interact in a diverse multi-cultural environment.

Responsibilities

Lead full-time and part-time security overnight coverage of the Intuit Dome.
Lead building security staff, ongoing training, staff positioning, ensuring that security team members are well-informed on event and non-event details and managing state mandated breaks.
Focus on providing a positive fan experience for all internal stakeholders and external fans visiting Intuit Dome
Assist the Security Management Team to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures that relate to the security department, as well as local, state and federal laws and regulations.
Oversee productivity and work assignments of the building security staff and communicates with the Building Security Management Team of any challenges and status of all assignments prior to the conclusion of the shift.
Train and evaluate building security team members.
Assign and schedule building security team members to specific duties.
Be an active role model and enforce safety, health, and security priorities.
Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Ensure that the building security team conducts and executes daily checkpoint patrols.
Screen employees, visitors, vehicles, and equipment entering the Intuit Dome
Lead building security team securing TV trucks, equipment, and personnel entering and exiting the Intuit Dome and loading dock in support of visits and events
Observe and reports on security threats along the Intuit Dome’s perimeters such as: crime, loitering, surveillance activity
Supervise and monitor daily security command center operations, which includes Closed Circuit Television Systems, access control, freight delivery, etc.
Supervise screening of bulk items (mail and other deliveries) entering the loading dock
Escort clients, employees, artists, performers and guests into and out of the Intuit Dome if necessary
Supervise and executes the Intuit Dome security procedures, responses, access control, and evacuation plans
