The Building Security Guard I position supports a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for employees, players, guests, vendors, and visitors at team facilities (arena, practice/training center, offices, and event venues). This role provides front-line security coverage by monitoring access points, enforcing facility policies, conducting patrols, responding to incidents, and assisting with emergency procedures. Building Security I works closely with Security leadership, Event Services, and Operations to ensure consistent access control, strong customer service, and professional incident response in both routine and high-activity game/event settings. All SS&E Security personnel are required to obtain a Level II Non-Commissioned Security License from the Texas Department of Public Safety within the first 90 days of employment. The pay increase is contingent on obtaining a Level II Non-Commissioned Security License AND fulfilling 90 days of employment. Failure to obtain a Level II Non-Commissioned Security License within the first 90 days may result in termination of employment.
