Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science
  • At least 15 years of experience as staff manager, Project Manager and Business Development in the Building Science field.
  • Accomplished Client Manager with at least 10 years managing clients.
  • Experience with asbestos, mold, and lead related projects.
  • Must have a valid Drivers License, ability to pass a Driver Background Check, and have reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a Background Check for work with state and local governments along with defense contractor clients
  • Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Licensed Asbestos Project Designer, Asbestos Inspector and Asbestos Management Planner
  • Excellent Technical Writing Skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and PDF tools.
  • Knowledgeable of a state and federal asbestos regulations, particularly AHERA, NESHAP, OSHA as well as MA and NH asbestos regulations.
  • Ability to travel, 15% of the time
  • Ability to communicate well and work in a team setting.
  • Staff management

Responsibilities

  • Manage existing Building Science staff, Projects and Clients, to include client communication, project budgeting, technical proposal preparation, contract management, report preparation, report review, project invoicing and assistance with AR Collections.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely in a timely manner and within budget constraints of the project.
  • Work with Atlas team to develop new projects and new clients in the New England Area.
  • Assist in the oversight and mentoring of Atlas staff.
  • Communicate on a regular basis with Atlas staff and management.
  • Abide by Atlas' health and safety policies and procedures and promote the Atlas's Safety requirements to staff, vendors and clients.
  • Regional (New England) travel is required.
