Responsibilities

  • Serve as the receptionist and greeter for Anpétu Téca Education Center.
  • Answer phone calls and direct them to appropriate programs.
  • Enforce building safety and security procedures, ensuring visitors have proper identification.
  • Maintain daily visitor logs and monitor building activity.
  • Respond quickly to potential crises, threats, and emergencies.
  • Manage access control systems and monitor surveillance cameras.
  • Assist in building-wide communications during emergencies.
  • Report unusual situations to the supervisor and complete incident reports as necessary.
  • Establish an inclusive atmosphere where all feel valued.
  • Manage facility schedule requests and support groups utilizing the facilities.
  • Direct building engineer on set-up needs and problem-solve complex scheduling issues.
  • Process Community Education registrations and deposit funds received.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
  • Address building problems and complaints by coordinating with custodial staff.
  • Maintain bookkeeping records and prepare reports as needed.
  • Prepare and enter purchase orders as requested.
  • Enforce building and facility use regulations and maintain knowledge of relevant policies.
