As a Building Porter, you’ll be the heart of our community’s cleanliness—making sure everything from hallways to common areas to vacant apartments is spotless and well-maintained. Your work keeps our residents happy and ensures our property looks its best every day.

💰 Competitive Pay! This position is subject to prevailing wage requirements, so your compensation is determined by federal, state, and local guidelines.

Salary Range: $21-$24 per hour, commensurate with experience

Physical & Work Environment:
🏢 You’ll be working both indoors and outdoors in a residential building.
🛠 This role requires frequent movement, stair climbing, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and using cleaning equipment.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a similar role
• A friendly and professional attitude—you enjoy helping people!
• Ability to work independently and stay organized
• Some basic mechanical know-how
• A team player who takes pride in their work

Responsibilities

• Keep public spaces, amenity areas, and office areas clean—vacuum, mop, dust, and empty trash
• Ensure restrooms and high-touch areas are sanitized
• Clean and refresh vacant apartments to get them move-in ready
• Handle small maintenance tasks (changing light bulbs, replacing covers, etc.)
• Assist with seasonal tasks like snow removal and sidewalk cleaning
• Report any safety concerns or maintenance issues
• Keep cleaning tools and supplies organized and in good condition
