We're looking for a Building Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our Engineering Design Organization! This is a great opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers on HVAC and plumbing system designs for industrial, municipal, and commercial facilities. You'll gain hands-on experience performing load calculations, developing equipment specifications, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical designs into building projects. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level Experience.
  • Very limited work-based experience (0 to 3 months).
  • No managerial experience.

Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate reports by collecting data from various standard sources and inputting it into standard formats.
  • Create engineering drawings for the communication, evaluation, and implementation of engineering solutions under the guidance of senior colleagues.
  • Contribute to the development of engineering solutions and implement feasibility testing to validate designs.
  • Research and suggest technical developments to improve the quality of the website/portal/software and supporting infrastructure.
  • Develop own capabilities through assessment and development planning activities, formal and informal training, and coaching.
  • Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulations, and industry best practices through ongoing education.
  • Carry out a range of product development and engineering activities, analyzing customer needs and defining products.
  • Support others by conducting a range of research activities.
  • Develop testing standards and procedures under the direction of professional colleagues.
  • Support project management activities.
  • Help to install complex systems and conduct inspections of equipment with guidance.
  • Aid in the identification, analysis, and resolution of technical issues with equipment and experiments.

Benefits

  • Salary Range: $22.00-$23.00 based on experience and location.
