Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years management experience with increasing levels of responsibility within facilities services or other service related field preferred
  • Ability to meet deadlines and make sound decisions in stressful situations
  • Strong customer service skills required with the ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form
  • Creative problem solving skills
  • Ability to identify strong talent that compliments and contributes to the client’s environment
  • Experience in working with outside vendors, accounts payable/receivable, and budget management preferred
  • Proficiency using the Internet and Microsoft Office programs including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain understanding of USF Health and client missions and objectives as it relates to the property and overall operating performance of the facility.
  • Responsible for collaboration and coordination with the Facilities team and cross department and vendor stakeholders.
  • Ensures the day-to-day operations of the facility including janitorial, life-safety, engineering and general maintenance are implemented and carried out in a manner consistent with USF and client policies and directives.
  • Charged with the supervision of all maintenance programs relating to the interior and exterior conditions and appearance of the properties.
  • Responsible, at all times, for executing and leading a positive and prompt response to requests from customers and occupants for the implementation of ongoing contract programs to constantly assess customer and occupant needs and to assure problems are being solved promptly and to the mutual benefit of the customer, owner, and the property.
  • Responsible for overseeing site specific logistics for programs, events, and including the set-up and teardown of all events.
  • Provides access to the space for vendors through the badging and logistical access points for the downtown portfolio.
  • Complete and maintain safety trainings and lead staff in proficiency for ongoing compliance.
  • Facility Manager shall be thoroughly familiar with the management contract and all requirements contained therein.Identify and resolve the many daily operational problems related to infrastructure issues and ancillary issues that arise at any of the USF downtown locations and related to facilities. Interact with many departments and also, with may campus departments to resolve problems, i.e. Physical Plant, Facilities Planning, Security, Environmental Health and Safety, Third party contractors, etc.Other Facilities Duties related to the downtown portfolio as well as travel.
