About The Position

The Building Maintenance Worker I at Pathfinder, Inc. is responsible for performing general repairs and maintenance on structural woodwork, cabinets, and various equipment within the facilities. This entry-level position involves both independent work and collaboration with others to ensure the upkeep and functionality of the buildings and equipment.

Requirements

• Entry-level position with no prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist or perform alone to build, repair, and install counters, cabinets, benches, partitions, floors, doors, etc.
• Perform routine maintenance work.
• Replace damaged ceiling tile, floor tile, and wall coverings (such as sheet rock).
• Install window glass in windows or doors as needed.
• Install venetian blinds, curtain rods, wall fans, and hang pictures for tenants in Pathfinder residential units.
• Assist in and/or repair plumbing equipment as directed.
• Paint woodwork, walls, and buildings.
• Repair roofs as needed.
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
