About The Position
The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for completing all aspects of freight dock, building, and warehouse-related repairs at the Altoona, PA location. This role requires the ability and knowledge to perform necessary repairs and maintenance to all Ward buildings, including basic repairs in electrical and lighting systems, carpentry, welding, plumbing, heating, and air conditioning. The technician will also be capable of completing interior and exterior building and dock repairs, directing the work of contractors, vendors, and suppliers, and operating equipment related to job requirements. Accurate and timely completion of paperwork and records is also essential.
