About The Position
We are looking for a dependable, experienced Building Maintenance Technician to help maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance at Audi Sarasota, a proud Sunset Automotive Group dealership. This position includes a mix of general maintenance and light janitorial duties to support a clean, professional environment for customers and employees.
Requirements
- Previous maintenance and janitorial experience preferred (1–3 years)
- Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Standing, walking, bending, and climbing throughout the shift
Responsibilities
- Perform routine building maintenance and minor repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry)
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and report issues as needed
- Maintain showroom, service workshops, offices, restrooms, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, use of automatic ride on floor cleaning machine, dust, and empty trash
- Clean glass surfaces, doors, and high-traffic areas
- Restock restroom and breakroom supplies
- Assist with exterior upkeep including entrances and parking areas
- Coordinate with vendors for larger repairs when necessary
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
