About The Position
The Building Maintenance Technician performs the work necessary to construct, alter, and repair buildings, furnishings and equipment as assigned by the supervisor. Specific duties may involve roof repairs, window repair, furniture assembly and repair, and minor masonry work.
Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- valid Indiana Driver’s License with a good driving record
- General maintenance experience
- knowledge of rough and finish carpentry
- ability to safely operate the tools associated with this type of work
- fundamental computer skills
- perform duties inside and outside
- exposed to the elements in all types of weather
- tolerate the noise of power tools
- climb stairs
- comfortable working on ladders and scaffolding
- lift 50+ pounds
