About The Position

South Central Transit is seeking a full-time Building Maintenance Technician to join our team!
What You'll Do:
Inspect, repair, and maintain equipment and building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
Perform routine facility upkeep and outdoor maintenance, including landscaping and mowing.
Handle general cleaning tasks and supply orders.
Conduct monthly building inspections and maintain door locks and codes.
Assist with transporting tools and equipment between facilities.

Requirements

• Knowledge and experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and lawn care.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and perform physically active tasks (bending, climbing, kneeling).
• Independent worker with strong problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma or GED required
• prior maintenance experience preferred.
