About The Position

We are looking for a proactive, reliable, and safety-driven person for our Building Maintenance Technician role. This person will play a key role in supporting the overall reliability and safety of our facility in Raymond, WA. In specific, you will help keep equipment and building systems running smoothly by performing routine maintenance, addressing issues as they arise, and ensuring work is completed in a timely and effective manner. The ideal candidate is someone who can work independently as well as part of a team, partnering with plant staff and outside contractors as needed, and has strong hands‑on skills, including basic repair work and general fabrication tasks.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in general maintenance and fabrication.
  • Must have Tig welding experience.
  • Must be skilled in using a variety of hand and power tools, plumbing, and basic mechanics.
  • Must be able to work independently or collaboratively with other employees, supervisors, and contractors.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Incumbent is subject to a criminal background check
  • Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • System Maintenance: Performing routine checks and repairs on industrial equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems. Be able to troubleshoot and repair in a timely manner.
  • Preventative Upkeep: Follow and improve preventive maintenance schedules. Complete lubrication, filter changes, and seasonal inspections. Help reduce downtime through proactive upkeep.
  • Safety: Responsible for following and supporting all plant safety systems. Assist with inspections related to safety systems (emergency lighting, guarding, etc.)
  • Housekeeping: Maintaining housekeeping and organizing tools, supplies, and equipment.
  • Administrative Tasks: Logging maintenance activities through computer, tablet or smart device programs, tracking supplies inventory, and managing work order documentation (i.e. be able to fill out and fulfill work orders).
