Building Maintenance Technician
About The Position
Primary Purpose Of Position To oversee minor repair and maintenance of the building. Contracts out with Physical Plant and third party vendors for major repairs. Minimum Qualifications Graduation from high school or equivalent. Experience in the trade(s) areas related to the position’s role may be substituted on a year-for-year basis. Degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. Requirements
- Graduation from high school or equivalent
- Experience in the trade(s) areas related to the position’s role may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
- Degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Nice To Haves
- at least two years of experience in the care and maintenance of a large public facility
- forklift experience
- strong supervisory, leadership, organizational, customer service, and communication skills
- working knowledge of event production
- ability to work under pressure
- experience in directing, supervising, and motivating employees
