This role centers on keeping critical building systems running smoothly through proactive maintenance, timely repairs, and system optimization. You'll work hands-on with HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical infrastructure, and building automation controls, using your technical expertise to diagnose issues, prevent equipment failures, and ensure operational continuity. You'll be responsible for responding to maintenance requests, conducting routine inspections, coordinating with contractors, and maintaining detailed records while ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and building codes. You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using appropriate tools, equipment, and troubleshooting techniques, prioritizing issues based on safety and operational impact. You will conduct routine inspections of building systems, safety equipment, and structural components to identify potential problems before they escalate into costly repairs or safety hazards. You will maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment records using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track trends and support data-driven decision making. You will coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs, installations, and major maintenance projects, ensuring quality standards and cost-effectiveness.
