About The Position

The position involves performing and managing industrial water treatment, as well as managing the pneumatic tube system software and repairing its mechanical systems. The role also includes servicing and maintaining medical gas systems, with a requirement to become certified in medical gas systems within two years. Additionally, the position requires managing and maintaining helipad heating systems, septic and wastewater systems, and reverse osmosis system management. The individual will be responsible for maintaining inventory and recommending supplies and equipment for purchase, prioritizing work to ensure patient needs come first, completing work orders in a timely manner, and recording work time electronically in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Participation in classes, seminars, workshops, and other continuous education is expected to enhance professional knowledge and skills. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-year associates degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing trade or Healthcare Mechanic Certification.
  • Completion of Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing trade apprenticeship program or equivalent.
  • 3 years experience in a related field.
  • Years of military experience in a related field may also be considered in lieu of the educational and experience requirements.
  • Driver License is required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and manage industrial water treatment.

  • Attend and participate in classes, seminars, workshops, and other continuous education as appropriate to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
