About The Position
This position works at Affton Community Center within the Department of Parks and Recreation. Work hours will include evening and weekend shifts as required. The typical starting salary range is between $16.61 - $18.74 hourly depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience as well as budgetary considerations.Additionally, we offer a competitive benefits package and a generous Paid Time Off (PTO) policy. Requirements
- Four years of experience performing skilled building maintenance work including the repair and maintenance of building systems; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License.
Responsibilities
- Performs carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance.
- Supervises building maintenance staff.
- Performs checks and actively maintains a safe environment for public guests and employees.
- Monitors facility equipment.
- Monitors supply levels and purchases supplies as needed.
- Performs preventative building maintenance.
- Provides event and program set-up.
- Performs custodial duties to ensure cleanliness of the facility.
- Performs related work as required.
