About The Position
Maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots facility systems and components to include painting, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and masonry work. Completes and maintains work requests as assigned. Required to be on call with a flexible schedule and respond to emergency repair requests. May occasionally be required to supplement custodial and grounds maintenance.
Requirements
- Five (5) years supervised experience in plumbing, carpentry, millwrighting, painting, electrical, and/ or masonry work preferred.
- Proficient in use of hand tools.
- Valid New York State driver’s license that meets the Agency’s driving policy
- Ability and willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call system
- Ability to work effectively and independently
