As a Building Maintenance Professional, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and optimal conditions of our customers' facilities.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in building maintenance or a related field
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively with minimal supervision
Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Live within Northern Virginia area, preferably within our service territory
10 years in Construction (Required)
Fluent English (Required)

15+ years in Construction (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on building systems and equipment
Repair and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
Conduct regular check-ups on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) units
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as painting, patching drywall, and fixing faucets
Install and repair various fixtures, including light fixtures, ceiling fans, and door handles
Assemble furniture and other household items according to manufacturers' instructions
Repair and replace damaged or worn-out flooring, tiles, and carpets
Fix leaky pipes, unclog drains, and repair or replace toilets and sinks
Inspect and troubleshoot electrical systems, replacing faulty switches, outlets, and light fixtures
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and address any issues in a timely manner
Monitor building security systems and address any concerns or malfunctions
Write, present, and sell your own estimates to our customers
