About The Position

About the Role: As a CBRE Building Engineer, you will have the outstanding opportunity to ensure the flawless operation of our clients' facilities. This role involves monitoring, maintaining, and repairing various building systems, including plumbing, electrical, painting, heating, and cooling. Day Shift (Full-Time) Two on-site dining options Free parking Campus walking trail for breaks and wellness What You'll Do: Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems. Ensure facility and building systems meet applicable standards and codes. Maintain an energy management program to improve system efficiency. Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the life of building machinery and systems. Conduct emergency repairs when necessary. Adhere to safety protocols for hazardous materials storage, usage, and disposal. Review inspections of building systems such as fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure efficient operation. Apply standard principles and innovative solutions to complex assignments. Mentor team members and share extensive job knowledge. Lead by example and embody CBRE RISE values. Collaborate with various teams to impact operational, project, or service activities. Communicate sophisticated or critical information optimally. What You'll Need: High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of proven experience. A combination of education and experience will be considered. Universal CFC certification is helpful. Additional certifications/licenses may be required by local or state jurisdictions. Prior shift management or supervisory experience is a plus. Ability to meet physical requirements such as stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. Excellent judgment and analytical skills to evaluate multiple sources of information. Willingness to adopt new points of view on existing solutions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Excellent organizational skills with a sophisticated inquisitive perspective. Sophisticated math skills for calculating percentages, fractions, and other financial-related figures. Requirements
