Requirements

• Two (2) years verifiable Custodian/Housekeeping experience.
• Must be able to comprehend oral instructions and follow written instructions as provided on daily work sheets.
• Possess a valid State issued Driver’s License.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must be able to comprehend, read, speak, and write proficiently in the English language.
• Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional and courteous manner in diversified situations.
• Good interpersonal skills and able to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Service, clean and/or supply restrooms.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
• Shampoo carpets.
• Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning duties.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using cleaners, sponges, or squeegees.
• Provide services while being aware of work environment, i.e., not interfering with personnel working in areas being serviced.
• Perform other duties as required.
