Perform specialized inspection work involving building construction and renovation to ensure compliance with established standards and ordinances, codes, rules, and regulations. Requirements

• Required education level includes high school diploma
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
• Minimum 10 years of field experience
• Candidates must be able to qualify within 30 days as a Building Inspector with the State of Michigan under Act 407
• Values diversity in the workplace and in the community.
• Proven track record of establishing and continuing effective working relationships with co-workers and the public
