Responsibilities include inspecting residential, commercial, and industrial projects throughout various construction and remodeling phases for compliance with applicable city, state, and federal codes, regulations, and ordinances. This includes checking the location of structures against approved plans for compliance with city zoning ordinances, inspecting materials and workmanship, coordinating inspections with the Fire Marshal's office, and issuing certificates of occupancy upon project completion.
