BW Packaging is hiring an experienced Building & Industrial Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations across two production facilities and one company‑owned residence in Cuyahoga Falls and Stow, Ohio. This is a hands‑on, multi‑skilled role focused on industrial equipment maintenance, CNC troubleshooting, facility upkeep, and preventative maintenance in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent with 5+ years of related experience AND/OR Associates degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance Technology, Facility Management or related field with 5+ years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, plant or facilities maintenance.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and production equipment
  • Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines, including Mazatrol and Fanuc controls
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics
  • Support maintenance of forklifts, cranes, powered hand tools, and shop equipment
  • Document work using maintenance logs, work orders, and PM records
  • Coordinate maintenance for company-owned vehicles
  • Perform general building and facility maintenance in manufacturing and office areas
  • Complete repairs involving: Lighting and basic electrical, plumbing and fixtures, HVAC filter changes, and basic support
  • Doors, walls, and structural components
  • Perform minor carpentry, painting, electrical, and plumbing work
  • Monitor building systems and coordinate outside vendors as needed
  • Support exterior grounds, snow removal coordination, and site safety
  • Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and PPE
  • Participate in safety committees and safety improvement activities
  • Support facility inspections, audits, and environmental compliance
  • Respond to urgent maintenance issues and prioritize work by risk and impact
  • Recommend improvements to increase equipment reliability and uptime
