About The Position

This position is responsible for painting and clean-up of surfaces inside and outside facility

Requirements

• Applicants who have worked for Tyson will not be considered.
• You must have 6 months of work history with one employer within the past 12 months.
• Applications are only active for the current month in which you applied.
• Applicant will need to reapply next month and have an active application to be considered for employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture
• Receive training as required
• Perform various positions as required/assigned
• Responsible for on-site preparations of equipment, floors, walls etc. before painting begins.
• Prepare surface to be painted by scraping, cleaning, using wire brush to remove old paint, product, or rust before painting.
• Be able to operate a man lift, ladder or scaffolding to perform task above ground level.
• Self-motivated and be able to work alone and to complete jobs before moving to another project.
• Clean up after job is completed and/or before end of work day.
• Surfaces will be painted using brushes, spray gun and/or rollers.
